Sweet Tea Trio confirmed theirs is a 4PM start. Someone asked them how that makes them on opener for Scotty (the questioner wasn't being catty, just didn't understand). They explained that anyone who appears before him is considered an opener for him. I'm guessing since they are the only "country" opener that they would be more likely to feel they are an opener for him.

I'm wondering why there is a 2 hours gap between the group before Scotty and him? I'm sure they won't be on the stage for that long. Hope the people don't get bored and leave. I see that Civil Twilight is saying they actually start at 7:20; sounds more reasonable. Civil Twilight 1 hr · Alabaster City Fest in Alabama tomorrow! we play at 7:20pm Yes, the 7:20 time makes more sense. Unless they play for a full hour or more there will still be a fairly big gap. |

I think they may well play for at least an hour. Since this is an multi-genre fest, people who are coming for their style of music would be disappointed if they didn't play for a substantial period of time. Let's hope they ALL stick around and become Scotty country fans also. (Hope the weather cooperates)

It's about a 5 hour drive and would have added a couple of more days to my crowded June Scotty calendar. (not complaining). I am so happy for Scotty headlining this CityFest. Sure hope for lots of video of new music. |
